On May 28, 2024, the Gender Commission of the University of Ghana Graduate Students' Association (GRASAG) led by Hon. Rahina Salifu organized an educational session on menstrual hygiene in honor of World Menstrual Hygiene Day. The event was broadcast live on Radio Universe at 8 AM, featuring health experts, personal testimonies, and practical advice on menstrual hygiene.
Objectives:
- Educate the public about menstrual hygiene.
- Dispel myths and misconceptions about menstruation.
- Promote open discussions and reduce stigma.
I am pleased to inform you that the Executive Council of the Claudius-led administration has donated two projectors to the Pan African Doctoral Academy (PADA) to assist PhD students with their mock presentations and viva exams.
